Thread: Irrfan, Nawazuddin team up for Dabba

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been the toast of the B-town recently with his stellar performance in films like Kahaani, and Gangs Of Wasseypur. However, already moving on, Nawaz has been roped in to feature alongside Irrfan Khan and Nimrat Kaur in the film Dabba.

Dabba will be co-produced by Anurag Kashyap and will be directed by debutante Ritesh Batra. The story of the film is said to be based on the day to day life in pulsing city of Mumbai. In fact, the film has already received acclaim at the Goa Annual Film Bazaar Screenwriters Lab when it was selected for Cinemart at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2012.

With the film's shooting starting on August 4, ace designer Niharika Khan will be developing the costumes for the characters to fit the look and feel of the film.
