Dr Sonu Ahluwalia, host of All is Well, is hopeful of a positive response from viewers
Colors’ latest weekend band show All is Well with Dr Ahluwalia (produced by Miditech) which went on air last Sunday (29 May 2012) aims to educate the common man with health related issues in a vein of entertainment. The show is based on the international format The Dr Oz Show. It is being anchored by US based orthopedic surgeon Dr Sonu Ahluwalia. In a conversation with us, he shared that he approached Colors three years ago with the same format but it got denied back then.
“I had approached Colors three years ago as I wanted to reach out to the Indian masses. However, things did not work out then but now the show is on Colors and the channel has bought the rights of the international format and altered it in the Indian way”, said Ahluwalia.
He continued, “The show will air 60 health-related topics over 20 episodes and will also feature some real life patients. We will deal with topics like HIV and cancer and create awareness amongst masses.”
And he ended the conversation on a positive note, “We will definitely come up with its second season but for that we have to wait for the response of the first season.”
We wish the show all the success and luck!!!
