The popular television show, ‘Gumraah – The End of Innocence’, is now ready for it’s third sesaon on the Channel V. The show is a joint production venture of The Lost Boy Productions and Balaji Telefilms. The production houses have made it possible to showcase the horrendous crimes happening in our country through this series.

According to the latest reports, sizzling beauty Chitrangada Singh has been roped in for the anchoring job for the opening episode of the show. Karan Kundra would be the lucky guy giving her company to host the show.

The earlier seasons were able to garner a lot of audience and had also become one of the highest TRP claimer shows of Channel V. The producers hope for a similar response of the viewers in the third season as well.

And with Chitrangada Singh, we are sure they will break barriers because who would want to miss such a beauty on the small screen?

The opening episode has been scheduled to air on Channel V on July 7.

Mallika Sherawat plays a village damsel in her next venture!

Mallika Sherawat will be seen in a desi look for the first time in her upcoming flick The Dirty Politics. The sex symbol of Bollywood was last seen on the big screen in Kismat Love Paisa Dilli (2012) where she was paired opposite Vivek Oberoi. The film didn’t do any good amount of business at the box office and collected just Rs 2 crores on the opening weekend.

But the hot actress looks all set to enchant us again with her new flick The Dirty Politics. She’s playing a village girl in the movie and her look in the movie is pretty interesting.

The movie The Dirty Politics is reportedly based on nurse Bhanwari Devi, who was gone missing from Jodhpur and was found killed in 2011. The film as of now is under production.

The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Anupam Kher, Om Puri, Atul Kulkarni and Ashutosh Rana along with Mallika.

Deepika: I don’t give importance to Rs 100 crore club

Deepika Padukone oficially entered the 100 crore club with two of her films this year, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Race 2. But the actress says it does not attach much significance.

Race 2 was a huge hit and had a great opening at the box office and Deepika’s 2013 took off in awesome style. Her latest movie with her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor also did great at the Box Office and has become one of India’s top grossing movies.

“It feels good when your films do good business and is appreciated by everyone. It is an added bonus. But I don’t give importance to Rs 100 crore club. I continue to focus on my work and do better. But what if a film earns money but the film is not good… I feel all good films should do well,” Deepika told PTI in an interview.

“It feels good when films like ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, ‘Barfi’ and others do well. One should not categorise the success of films genre wise, like only action or masala films will do well. All good films will do well,” she said.

Her previous three films, ‘Cocktail’, ‘Race 2′ and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ got tremendous response from the audience and were superhit commercially but she says she does not review them.

“I don’t sit and analyse about the films I do. It feels good that my films have been liked by the audience,” she said. “I work on a film if I feel excited and If I know I will enjoy being part of the project. I have not changed my approach to work,” she added.

Except for a few scenes in school uniform, there is absolutely no similarity between "Raanjhanaa" and Tamil romantic-drama "3", clarifies Tamil actor Dhanush. He urges viewers not to compare the two movies.
"3" was an unsuccessful directorial debut of Dhanush's wife, Aishwarya Rajinikanth, while "Raanjhanaa" marks his debut in Bollywood.
"I don't want these two films to be compared because they bear no similarity except for a few scenes in school uniform. Both films have different storylines and are quite different from each other in so many ways," Dhanush told IANS.
Aishwarya's "3" tracks the love story of two students from class 12 to the stage when they tie the knot to become a couple, whereas "Raanjhanaa" focuses on the relationship between a Muslim girl and a Hindu boy.
Although "3" was a box office dud, the song "Kolaveri Di" from the film made Dhanush a global name.
Directed by Anand L. Rai, "Raanjhanaa", which is releasing Friday, is produced by Eros International. It also features Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol and Swara Bhaskar in important roles.

If she played a high-on-fashion girl in "Aisha", she even essayed a simple girl in "Delhi-6" and "Mausam". Actress Sonam Kapoor, who will now be seen in her forthcoming film "Raanjhanaa", says she considers it a big achievement that she has escaped being typecast in the film industry.
"I don't compare my life with the success ratio. I am not getting typecast and that's my biggest achievement. I want to be able to do different roles and I have consciously decided it and not done typical roles," Sonam told IANS.
"Raanjhanaa", directed by Anand L.Rai, also stars southern actor Dhanush.
Sonam says she was always the "first choice" for the role of Zoya in "Raanjhanaa" and says any reports indicating that actress Sonakshi Sinha was being considered for the role are "not true at all".
"There are lots of films which even I have said no to, but I never talk about it, I never discuss it because I respect my co-star, producers and directors. But I can assure you that I was always the first choice for 'Raanjhanaa'," she added.

Jackie Chan, one of Asian cinema's most prominent faces, is keen that India, the world's largest film producing nation, and China, globally the second largest film market, must collaborate to make movies, and exchange culture more often. Singing and dancing in a Bollywood film is also on his wish-list!
In the capital to inaugurate the Chinese Film Festival, jointly organised by the India-China Economic and Cultural Council in association with both India and China, the 59-year-old star of movies like "Police Story", "Rush Hour" and "The Myth" was "excitedly happy" with the warm reception from his fans.
Such initiatives - film festivals, cultural exchange programmes and music events - will "definitely" help the nations in improving relations, he said.
"There are (many) productions, studios and directors, you can hire some of the Chinese stars - actors, actresses to act in the movies or find some Chinese location (for your films)," Chan told IANS in an interview.
He cited his experience of working with Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat in the 2005 martial arts-based fantasy adventure film "The Myth".

Touching suicide note by Bollywood actress Jiah Khan revealed

Image: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XbyB3x6rW-Y/UbeYJCBXNPI/AAAAAAAAhwE/clWuk53XE6I/s400/Jiah-Khan%E2%80%99s-suicide-Mumbai-police-arrest-Suraj-Pancholi.jpg

BOLLYWOOD Actress Jiah Khan committed suicide recently and its been proven she killed herself because of emotional trauma she faced in her relationship with her boyfriend who has just been arrested. He was also the last person she called before committing suicide...

Read Jiah Khan’s letter to her boyfriend Suraj (Actor Aditya Pancholi’s son) before death:

‘I don’t know how to say this to you but I might as well now as I have nothing to lose. I’ve already lost everything. If you’re reading this I might have already left or about to leave. I am broken inside. You may not have known this but you affected me deeply to a point where I lost myself in loving you. Yet you tortured me everyday.

These days I see no light I wake up not wanting to wake up. There was a time I saw my life with you, a future with you. But you shattered my dreams. I feel dead inside. I’ve never given so much of myself to someone or cared so much. You returned my love with cheating and lies. It didn’t matter how many gifts I gave you or how beautiful I looked for you. I was scared of getting pregnant but I gave myself completely the pain you have caused me everyday has destroyed every bit of me, destroyed my soul. I can’t eat or sleep or think or function. I am running away from everything. The career is not even worth it anymore.

When I first met you I was driven, ambitious and disciplined. Then I fell for you, a love I thought would bring out the best in me. I don’t know why destiny brought us together. After all the pain, the rape, the abuse, the torture I have seen previously I didn’t deserve this. I didn’t see any love or commitment from you. I just became increasingly scared that you would hurt me mentally or physically. Your life was about partying and women. Mine was you and my work. If I stay here I will crave you and miss you. So I am kissing my 10-year career and dreams goodbye. I never told you but I received a message about you. About you cheating on me. I chose to ignore it, decided to trust you. You embarrassed me. I never went out, I never went with anyone else.

I am a loyal person. I never met anyone with Karthik I just wanted you to feel how you make me feel constantly. No other woman will give you as much as I did or love you as much as I did. I can write that in my blood. Things were looking up for me here, but is it worth it when you constantly feel the pain of heartbreak when the person you love wants to abuse you or threatens to hit you or cheats on you telling other girls they are beautiful or throws you out of their house when you have no where to go and you’ve come to them out of love or when they lie to your face or they make you chase after them in their car. Or disrespects their family. You never even met my sister.

I bought your sister presents. You tore my soul. I have no reason to breathe anymore. All I wanted was love. I did everything for you. I was working for us. But you were never my partner. My future is destroyed my happiness snatched away from me. I always wished the best for you, was ready to invest what little money I had in your betterment.

You never appreciated my love, Kicked me in the face. I have no confidence or self esteem left, whatever talent whatever ambition you took it all away. You destroyed my life. It hurt me so much that I waited for you for ten days and you didn’t bother buying me something. The Goa trip was my birthday present but even after you cheated I still spent on you. I aborted our baby when it hurt me deeply. You destroyed my Christmas and my birthday dinner when I came back. When I tried my hardest to make your birthday special. You chose to be away from me on Valentines Day. You promised me once we made it to one year we would get engaged. All you want in life is partying, your women and your selfish motives.

All I wanted was you and my happiness you took both away from me. I spent money on you selflessly you would throw in my face. When I would cry for you. I have nothing left in this world to live for after this. I wish you had loved me like I loved you. I dreamt of our future. I dreamt of our success. I leave this place with nothing but broken dreams and empty promises. All I want now is to go to sleep and never wake up again. I am nothing. I had everything. I felt so alone even while with you. You made me feel alone and vulnerable. I am so much more than this’.

Ali Khan">Saif Ali Khan has opted for a naturally tanned look instead of make-up to play a rural gangster in Tigmanshu Dhulia-directed "Bullet Raja".
According to a source, the actor was required to get a tanned look for his character and to achieve that the 42-year-old would sit outside his van in the afternoon.
"Saif really puts in a lot of effort to get into his character. Tigmanshu wanted a certain tanned look since he is playing a rural gangster. When Saif learned this, he decided that instead of the make-up he would sit outside his van in the afternoons to get the natural tanned look. We all told him that it was not necessary to do that as it was really scorching hot, but he did not listen to us," said the source.
The actor went to great lengths to get under the skin of Langda Tyagi, his character in critically acclaimed Othello-inspired 2006 movie "Omkara".
"Bullet Raja" narrative will be set against the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh-based mafia, and it will deal with the underworld. It also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Jimmy Shergill.

Filmmaker Susi Ganeshan's debut Hindi film "Shortcut Romeo" has been awarded U/A-certificate by the censor board, which ran its scissors on the liplock scene between Neil Nitin Mukesh and Puja Gupta and reduced it 50 percent.
Confirming this, Ganeshan told IANS: "The film has got a U/A certificate with cuts. It is a very intense drama, which has a strong message in it. The liplock scene between Neil and Puja has been reduced to 50 percent. So, the kissing scene has been diluted as per request of the censor board."
"I think liplock is very common in Bollywood but in south it's like a big deal. I thought the kissing scene was necessary as it goes with the flow of the film," he added.
The director, who hails from South, started his career in 2002 with Tamil film "Five Star" and later directed "Virumbugiren", "Thiruttu Payale" and "Kanthaswamy".
"Shortcut Romeo", his first Hindi movie, is a remake of his Tamil venture "Thiruttu Payale" and the director assures he is "here to stay".
"I am not going to do just one film and go back to south. I am also producing 'Shortcut Romeo' and I want to try my hands in production and understand my business capability," said the director who has roped in Ameesha Patel in a negative role in "Shortcut Romeo", slated for a June 21 release.

For Anushka, backless dresses signify confidence

Actress Anushka Sharma confesses to be completely in love with backless dresses, saying for her it is "synonymous with confidence".
"Backless signifies confidence and that's always in fashion, always in vogue. Backless in my head is synonymous to confidence and hence extremely important," Anushka told reporters during the making of her latest Nivea advertisement.
"It's something you should not be thinking about, you should be able to wear a backless top when you want to, there should not be a thought before that," added the model-turned-actress who made her debut in films as a salwar-kameez clad conventional girl in 2008 release "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi".
She went on to do glamorous roles in "Ladies vs Ricky Bahl", "Badmaash Company" and "Jab Tak Hai Jaan".
Currently, the 25-year-old is shooting for Rajkumar Hirani's "P.K." and Anurag Kashyap's "Bombay Velvet".
