London 2012 Olympics are even less than three weeks away and a book has stoked a fresh controversial furore by claiming that during the event Olympic Village turns into a 'party' zone where sportspersons indulge in sex, booze and drugs.

According to media reports, ‘The Secret Olympics’, a book written by a former British competitor, claimed that it is always a challeging task to meet demands for drinks and condoms at the Olympics.

Moreover, book reveals that organisers at the 2000 Sydney Olympics had supplied 70,000 condoms to athletes, but suprisingly the supplied stock was finished in less than a week's time.

Notably, alcohol and drugs are banned at Olympic Villages, but athletes fill water bottles with alcoholic drinks and smuggle drugs to enjoy, book alleged.
