Salman rises to fame with Isha Sarvani as partner in Jhalak Dikhhla JaaThe entire nation witnessed when handsome and hardworking Salman Yusuff Khan was declared the winner of Dance India Dance season one (Zee TV).
Thereafter, Salman rose to fame as an emerging and hardworking choreographer. Eventually, due to his capability and innovative mind, he was once again brought on the board of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as one of the choreographers. And as history repeats, his partner (Isha Sarvani) is once again on top of the list.
We got in touch with the young choreographer and had a candid chat on his experience with Jhalak… so far. “It’s been a fantastic experience to be a part of Jhalak as it’s a pleasure to perform in front of such great personalities like Remo Sir and Madhuri Ma’am. In fact, Karan Sir is also not less as a judge,” said Salman.
Isha Sharvani and Salman, being the strongest competitors on the show, who does Salman think as his opponent? “Well, frankly speaking, since day one, it has been me, myself -with whom I knew, I wanted to compete with.” quiped Salman wittily.
Since the season had started off, your pair is consistently getting 10/10 for performances, how does that feel? “I would say my hard work has paid off. It feels amazing when you get appreciated for your good work,” he added. “For me, the best buddies on the sets are Bharti Singh and Ravi Kissen. I am impressed by both of them. The reason why I love to be with them is because they both entertain and they keep me linked to them with their charm. Bharti is the best and no one else can be compared with her whereas Ravi is a fighter; I would say,” Salman opened up when asked about his favourite contestants.
We heard that for the special episode (will air on 22 July), Karanvir would join hands with Salman and Isha for a performance but unfortunately both Isha and Karanvir were unwell during the act, so how did you manage to get 10 on 10 once again? “Frankly speaking it was very hard for me to manage both as they were not keeping well. But to make our performance best, what I had to do was be very strict to them and behave very brutally, with no mercy. For few days I was like Hitler to them. I was not worrying about how ill they were because I knew audience and judges wouldn’t see the illness but obviously your performance that you give,” shared Salman.
He went further, “But after we got full marks I do apologized to both of them as I was very harsh on them for the past few days.”
We wish Salman for more success in his future!
