Thread: For Alka Yagnik, playback singing is all "about matching the voices"

Every week a special guest on Star Plus’ Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar Season 2 brings some great surprises along. This week, the famous play back singer Alka Yagnik made a very musical appearance with her hit number Ek Do Teen.

The episode was a special on play back singing. Alka comments, “All these talented singers have a dream and most dreams are that of playback singing. It’s a journey to ensure that your voice is recognized and the melody appreciated.”

She further adds, “An actor is acting on screen but a singer is acting behind the screen and that’s why playback is all about matching the voices.”

The judges, Shaan, Swanand and Shantanu Moitra, were all seen sharing their memories of Alka with the audience which made everyone break into laughter. It was a fun-filled day and everyone parted singing happy tunes.
