Sharad Kelkar, better known as Dr Ashutosh of Kuch Toh Log Kahenge on Sony Entertainment, is somebody who has spent almost a decade in the entertainment industry. Over the years, he has bagged one impressive role after another. We decided to talk to and ask about his money mantras. Excerpts:

How important is money to you? Very important.

Are you an impulsive buyer? No. I am very careful about the things I buy.

What are the investments you have made? My friends are my investments which I have earned after spending ten years in the industry. Whenever I need them, they are there with me.

What is your most expensive purchase? My Omega watch and Versace suit.

Do you feel financially secure? To an extent, yes.

Who handles your expenses? My wife.

What was your first salary? 2.5 k.
