Thread: Alakshmi to go on air on 28 May 2012

Hats off Productions’ Alakshmi – a story revolving around two families – has finally got its on air date. We have learned from its credible sources that the show will hit the screens on 28 May 2012. Hats off is currently on a high as their other offering, Byah Hamari Bahu Ka, will also air from 28 May on Sony Entertainment Television.

We have already reported that Sujay Reu and Helly Shah have been roped in to play the leads. Other actors in the star cast list include Supriya Pathak, Anang Desai, Falguni Desai, Neeraj Kshetarpal, Ujjwal Chopra (last seen in Gulaal), Priyamvada Sawant (of Shubh Kadam fame), Sunil Vishrani (last seen in Papad Pol) and theatre actors, namely Purvi Vyas and Disha Savla.

We got in touch with actor Anang Desai and he said, “The show is most likely to go on air sometime this month but I am not the right person to talk about it. However, it is a good show with a good story line.”

We tried getting in touch with Sujay Reu and Helly Shah but they remained unavailable for comment.
